Suggestions for dressing for your snowmobile tour

Keep in mind that loose clothing like scarves don't mix well with machinery. Please leave winter scarves at home. Ear muffs, while toasty warm around town, don't fit well under your helmet (which keeps your head real warm). It's a good idea to leave them behind as well.

Do bring a knit neck tube or gator to keep your chin and neck, below your helmet, warm. Thick and long turtlenecks can also do the trick.

Drivers will need glovesand we recommend you bring your own. They don't need to be really heavy since your grips and throttle are heated. Mittens don't work well for some people when driving the machines, but are a favorite with passsengers. We have disposable hand warmers for passengers available for sale at the shop and are a good idea on cold days.

Our snow suits are well insulated, one-piece styles that keep riders and driver very warm. We recommend you layer with light winter clothes such as a turtleneck, long underwear and sweaters or sweatshirts depending on the weather. There is room on your machine for a bit of storage should you need to shed a layer and store it.
