Grand Teton Park Travel RecommendationsWHAT TO BRING Camera - and extra battery if necessary. You'll want to take a lot of photos! Polarized sunglasses - good quality lenses bring out the natural color of the forest and lakes. Comfortable walking or hiking shoes - trails and walkways aren't difficult, but comfortable feet make for an enjoyable trip. WHAT TO WEAR We recommend dressing layers as conditions are apt to change throughout the day. Mornings and cloudy days can be cool in the pine-covered forests of Yellowstone and may require a light sweater or jacket. Mid-day trail walks can be warm as summer temperatures rise - so shorts or jeans and a light shirt will be most comfortable.
